ArPePe 'Fiamme Antiche' Valtellina Superiore Inferno, Italy 2019
This is Nebbiolo at its most ethereal and elegant, pale in colour, fragrant and fine, but with all of the varietal character that makes Nebbiolo one of the greatest of red grapes. The Inferno subzone creates wines with glorious finesse, structure and longevity, with lovely mineral tones. With long macerations, 50 days on its' skins, and the incredible terroir, gives this wine a remarkable minerality.
