Sommelier's selection
3 or 6 bottles each month
Each month we’ll send you three wines hand picked by Ian, our sommelier. These wines will be selected to show the range of styles and differing approaches to wine-making within a specific theme, region or variety. The selection could span the globe, such as three very different expressions of Syrah from around the world, or could be regionally focused, such as three Burgundies from villages less than 20km apart. We might feature three of the world’s leading biodynamic producers, or three excellent examples of low intervention wines.
Each box will usually include at least two ‘colours’, and seasonality will dictate whether they are mostly red, white or one of the colours in between. Each wine will come with winemaking details and a note explaining why we’ve chosen this particular bottle – not just a list of descriptors or fruit flavours, but what we feel about the wine, and why we think you will like it.
We’ll also include:
- A recommended food pairing
- Suggested cheese match for each wine
- Option to ‘Double up’ on wine at a reduced cost
