Join us for a very special evening with Edgard Kappelhoff-Lançon, Commercial & Marketing Director of Château d’Issan, one of the great historic estates of Margaux and a Third Grand Cru Classé.
Château d’Issan has been producing celebrated wines for centuries, with a history that stretches back to 1152, when its wine is said to have been served at the wedding of Eleanor of Aquitaine and the future King Henry II of England. Today, the estate is renowned for producing elegant, expressive Margaux, with its Grand Vin made from old vines within the Château’s historic walled vineyard.
Edgard will guide us through six wines from Château d’Issan, poured in pairs and matched with a menu created by Head Chef Lucas specifically for the evening.
The highlight?
A rare opportunity to taste Château d’Issan 1995 & 2005, with both vintages coming directly from the Château’s own cellar.
The evening begins with sparkling wine & canapés, followed by starter, main course & cheese, each created with the wines in mind.
An intimate evening, exceptional Bordeaux and a rare chance to discover Château d’Issan through wines spanning the decades.
