100% Merlot.
San Vito have been organic since 1982 and they hand harvest their best grapes for their Merlot bottling, the Colle dei Mandorli, meaning Almond Hill. The wine is deep ruby red with a generous, complex nose of pungent spice and ripe red berry. It’s well balanced on the palate, firm-structured yet smooth and opulent, with very fine-grained, fragrant tannins and blueberry fruits.
Pairs well with roasts, stews and game.
