The left Bank in Bordeaux is home to some of the most famous wines in the world- names like Ch. Latour & Ch. Margaux instantly spring to mind. This Cabernet-dominated region produces superb, long-lived and regal wines from world famous communes such as Pauillac, St. Julien & Margaux. Whereas the Left Bank wines are all about power and structure, the Right Bank wines exude the rich and supple fruit associated with the best expressions of Merlot. St. Emilion and Pomerol are certainly the two most famed examples, but the Right Bank of Bordeaux is also home to some of the most interesting and – believe it or not - best value wines in Bordeaux. This tasting is a rare chance to taste the differing styles side by side.
