Made by the guys at Fontanafredda with over 150 years of history. This is a great side project wine that hits the spot on value and quality.
Fontanafredda have long been working towards a lighter ecological footprint so their Langhe vineyards are managed without chemical fertilizers or weed control. Only organic substances are used as manure , while pest prevention treatments are limited to the absolute minimum in keeping with the most advanced integrated vine pest management techniques established by the European Union program for safeguarding the environment and reducing crop protection interventions. In 2010, Fontanafredda’s winegrowing operations attained “integrated farm management” certification.
