But they are by no means the only ones, with outstanding sparkling wines now produced the world over. Cava is having its long overdue day in the sun, while Italy is making some seriously impressing sparkling wines. No, I don’t mean Prosecco. But it’s not just the obvious places – we can now sample sparkling wines from every continent, including some outstanding wines produced very close to home.
