Montevertine speaks fluently the authentic Tuscan language of purity and subtle austerity, and at the same time forms the reference for the generosity and freshness so typical of Sangiovese in Radda. On the nose, plenty of dark red fruits, some lavender, leather, sweet pipe tobacco, liquorice and earthy notes that develop nicely with further aeration, offering a taste of what awaits those who can wait.
