Chateau Potensac, Medoc, Bordeaux, France, 2018
Potensac is often cited as being the perfect example of how a Medoc should be. The 2016 is an exceptional vintage with excellent potential for cellaring. Delicious now though with blackcurrants and black cherries on the nose, ripe black fruits, medium bodied with a hint of smoke and a pleasing minerality. Enjoy now or keep until 2029.

Jonathan Didier Pabiot ‘Florilège’ Pouilly Fumé, Loire Valley, France 2018 ‘Florilège’ Pouilly Fume is a blend of many different parcels from predominantly limestone soil. These are fermented and vinified in stainless steel, with only natural yeasts to allow a pure aromatic expression of Sauvignon Blanc character – think citrus, gooseberry and herbal, grassy notes. The palate has lots of ripe grapefruit flavours with flinty/ smoky hints, but with surprising richness and weight.

The perfect charcuterie component, they have fast become a customer favourite at ELY. Free range happy pigs running the woodland in Co. Meath make for a deeper flavour profile!

- Local delivery within 45km of Maynooth - €7.50
- Free delivery over - €150
- Meal boxes are available for delivery and collection from Maynooth Friday & Saturday
- Delivery available up to a 45km radius of Maynooth
- We will endeavour to deliver on the specified day, but in some cases delivery may be made up to 24 hours prior (meal boxes have a fridge life of 3 days)
- Order cut-off point for meal box orders for same week is 6pm Thursday
